Social Media/Web-based Marketing Internship

Basics:
- 5-10 hours/week
- Primarily work from home
- Meet weekly via conference call with owners
- Unpaid position (however, potential to earn money below)

Primary Duties:

- Social Media Sites - Facebook, Twitter, Linked In & more

- Build WLG presence on Social Medial Sites

- Promote all events on Social Media Site

- Build membership on Social Media Sites

- Keep up to date on Social Media trends and how they impact WLG

- Finding new and innovative ways to share WLG through Social Media avenue

Possible Secondary Duties:
- Assist in E-newsletter
- Send Networking Event Reminders via Constant Contact
- Routine updates of website


Skills Required:
- Knowledge of and experience with web-based Social Media - promoting events, building membership, following trends and new applications
- Very comfortable in web-based navigation, and site editing 

- Self-starter
- Dedicated team player
- Effective communication & coordination skills
- Detail oriented
- Efficient and effective at multi-tasking


Skills Not Required but Appreciated:
- Knowledge of Constant Contact or other email marketing tools
- Basic HTML
- Knowledge of Ning Web Platform, Wordpress or other website platforms
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Alexa
