Personal Transformation Team Bermuda Cruise Recap... Amazing! Fun! Delightful! Connections! Breakthroughs!

PTT Bermuda Cruise
PTT Cruise Attendees

We are most grateful that the Universe exceeded our expectations by delivering perfect sunny skies and warm turquoise waters while in Bermuda....and provided lovely contrast to the experience before getting there.  On the day we left, it was unusually cold & windy.  Intuitively before going to bed that first night, I felt that I should take a Dramamine even though I felt perfectly fine.  That evening as we crossed the channel between the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean, the ocean swells picked up and tossed the ship around a bit.  I felt fine that night & the next day.  Others didn't, including seasoned cruisers.

Was this a sign that our trip was off to a bad start?  Not unless that is the meaning you assigned to that event...nope...the contrast was all part of a greater unfolding .... that everything was working out perfectly as designed.  And it did!  The Universe was simply providing contrast...and more importantly a blessing in disguise as so well put by one of our lovely participants Nancy Pribble.   The swells were due to an unusually low dip in the jet stream that was holding off the wet weather from the west and preventing any hurricanes from forming!!  This allowed for beautiful weather around Bermuda and some fantastic sunsets viewed from our ship!  In addition to contrast and letting go of conditioned "meanings" that we assign to events in our life, others on this cruise experienced breakthroughs, miracles, connections and synchronicities.  Others were required to persevere and test their faith & power of determination....such as the story of John & Faith Shure who almost missed going on the cruise altogether!  Here is their story...

After dropping off our dog at pet daycare, we get in the car and it doesn't start ... no power at all.   Fortunately we had given ourselves 3 hours to get to the Port of Baltimore and we were only 1 ½ hours away.  So we call AAA Roadside, which normally takes 30 minutes to arrive....but this time takes over an hour.   They send a roll-back but it doesn't have tools or replacement batteries, like they told us it would have on the phone.  The AAA guy does get the car jump-started, and we head back down the road. It is already 12:45 at this point, and we are supposed to be boarding the ship by now...but we still have time.   That is until the car shuts down AGAIN while driving on I95.  I was able to coast over to the shoulder of the road.... right next to the Service plaza in Newark without a problem and since it was only 10 minutes later, we were able to get the same AAA driver who was only 15 minutes away. He picked us up and we towed the car all the way back to New Castle.  To say we were feeling frustration and pressure is an understatement as we feared we would not make boarding the ship.  My parents were out of town so we figured they wouldn't mind if we borrowed their car.  We transferred the luggage and got back on the road around 1:45pm.  I figured we could make it by 3pm if I pushed it a little bit. We called members of PTT and informed them we were running late and to see if they could “hold” the ship for us.  We learn that 3:15 was the absolute cut-off for checking in with the Port Authorities. I asked my wife Faith if we could get a refund if we miss the ship.....she calmly states that it isn’t necessary to discuss because we are GOING to board that ship.  I think I only asked her one more time to which I got the same response. We pulled in at 3:12, paid for our parking, grabbed our luggage, checked in at the Port and headed for the ship. We were walking up to the boarding ramp at around 3:30 with cheers from PTT raining down from above, like we won something. It was great. That is, arriving at the ship was great, everything leading up to that, not so much.

I love these type of stories as they provide us with opportunities to experience contrast...and they provide the opportunity to practice “perseverance” and “calmness” in the face of a difficult storm.  Faith & John demonstrated these attributes beautifully.

Another story of synchronicities involving a member of PTT & multiple cruise attendees and unfolding blessings was written by our dear friend Michelle Renee Johnson, CEC, ACC, of Expanding Joy Coaching.  It is a beautifully written story and I encourage our dear readers to take the time to read it by going to Michelle's blog called "Manifestation Story - The Greater Plan."  Simply click on the link to access this story and enjoy!
